Fashion Week Istanbul'19



The 13th season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul which is Turkey's biggest fashion event was held at Zorlu PSM between 19th March to 22nd. Creative works, innovative designs and brand new ideas were shown during these three days of the event.

Alongside the pioneering names of the fashion industry, young and talented designers came together at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week too.

HEMİNGTON’s Collection 

Alongside the eye-catching fashion shows, local and foreign buyers were also the focus of the event. The Core Istanbul, the commercial pillar of the event, brought together local and global purchasing managers with brands and designers and held with the theme "Carnival". Also, pop-up stores that bring together the Autumn / Winter 2019 collections of 45 brands have established. Workshops and panels under the main headings of “season trends”, “management of digital processes”, “branding”, “slow fashion” and “fashion photography” has organized. The participants were pleased with the user experience opportunity at stores, which has emerged as the architectural design trend of the last years, and they explored the ways to open Turkish fashion to the world in these workshops and panels.

This season, 50 members of international press members, editors, bloggers, and street photographers, and a purchasing team of 140 people representing 102 global companies followed the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul non-stop.

Eventually, it'll not be wrong to say that through the 13th season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul, which closed with Climber's spectacular runway show on March 22nd, Istanbul was the heartbeat of the fashion industry for three days.
